The pennant is red with a yellow differentiation of the Købstadsvåben, one of two coats of arms of Sakskøbing, probably displaying a brooch. Sakskøbing is located in the northeast of Lolland Island.

At hoist isa blue inscription "S" over "B" over "K" with the "B" slightly shifted to fly.
To each letter a blue starlet is annexed. Skærbæk Kommune is located on Jutlands western coast opposite of Rømø Island.

The club was established in 1904 as “Sonderburger Yacht-Club”. The white pennant is parted by a dark blue off-centred cross and in the canton is a red 5-point star. The colours are those of Schleswig-Holstein.

The pennant (see left image above) is a state ensign defaced with a Cistercian Rose of blue and white under golden letters "Y.F.", approved by royal resolution on 18 May 1899, to be hoisted on rowing boats and flagpole of the boat house.
