I am left with something of a problem the "problem" being how on earth do I describe
such a thing in heraldic language? Well I can use "couped" to indicate that the pile does not come
to a point, "ensigned" to show that the trefoil appears at the top of it and "issuant" to
show that the base and the pile etc are united, but putting them all together makes for a rather
long-winded (not to say rather "convoluted") result. None-the-less, at least it isn't almost total
nonsense:
Argent a pile reversed wavy couped Azure ensigned with a trefoil and
issuant from a base of the Same.
