Croatian: Klimpuh; Hungarian: Kelénpatak, Klimpa
Official colours: yellow and red

According to the municipal administration the flag in front of the town hall is the only flag in the village. Its background colours are in the wrong order, red-yellow instead of yellow-red (photo source).

Gules a blade in pale Or.
Christopher Southworth

The coat of arms, as depicted on the oldest surviving municipal seal dating from 1824, shows a blade (German: Klinge) facing heraldically to the right within the shield, entwined in an oval shape by two laurel branches that cross at their lower ends. Nothing is known about the circumstances or the exact date of the award. Nor is there any indication as to the colours of the town. The blade is actually a vine knife, which is a symbol of viticulture and highlights its importance in the economic life of the municipality.

The municipality's new coat of arms is not entirely faithful to the original, as the laurel is completely absent compared with the old one.
It was granted to the municipality of Klingenbach by the state government by resolution of 14 June 1972.
As stated on the communal website and indicated by the colours of the coat of arms, the town's colours are gold (yellow) and red. It has not been possible to ascertain whether these colours were identified on the basis of oral tradition or through colour markings on old seals or stamps, or whether they were chosen arbitrarily when the coat of arms was re-conferred.
