Overview

The NPC is an association of journalists. It often provides a forum for speeches by public figures, at which occasion their flag is usually visible: dark blue with golden seal in middle and fringe.
Eugene Ipavec, 26 June 2006

"The National Press Club is a professional organization and business center for journalists and communications professionals. It is located in Washington, D.C. Its membership consists of journalists, former journalists, government information officers, and those considered to be regular news sources. Its first meeting was held on March 12, 1908"

Its flag is a navy blue horizontal flag with the logo (http://s1.evcdn.com/images/edpborder500/I0-001/000/276/084-0.jpg_/national-press-club-84.jpg) in yellow and blue, as seen here: (source: Twitter account of the Italian Embassy in the United States @ItalyinUS (https://twitter.com/italyinus). However, there seems to be a variant pennant/gonfalon, seen in the background of the same picture, featuring this version (http://s3.amazonaws.com/production.mediajoint.prx.org/public/series_images/3492/m-logo_medium.jpg) of the logo.

Gonfalon

The gonfalon can be seen in several other photographs online, particularly in photographs at http://www.press.org/news-multimedia/galleries/npc-newsmaker-dr-herbert-pardes, and http://www.press.org/news-multimedia/galleries/npc-newsmaker-john-gage
The gonfalon appears to have stripes above and below the seal, gold-white-gold, fimbriated dark blue, with the gold stripes being roughly one-half the width of the white stripe.
