Description of the Flag

Pierce County is the second most populated county in Washington state. The flag consists of the county logo in blue centered on white. Below the logo Pierce County is spelled out in blue.

Yes, Pierce County does has a official flag, which was passed by ordinance upon approval of the County Executive and County Council adopting a New Chapter 1.06 of the Pierce County Code, "Official County Flag.". Ordinance No. 2011-61 became effective Nov. 7, 2011. The link to Ordinance No. 2011-61 includes the language and image of the county flag.
