I received information on the previous flag of Rockwall from City Secretary Kristy Teague. The previous flag first appeared in December 1983 and used a logo that resulted from a contest in 1980. To draw the flag I used a photograph sent by Ms. Teague of the logo that had been on the floor of the city hall foyer for many years, but has since been removed.
