I was sent a digitalized drawing of the township flag and seal by the township officials. The flag is a blue field with the township seal in the center.

The seal is made of a red ring with the township, county, and state names on
them. The disk is divided into four quarters with a grey horizontal oval in the
center depicting the establishment year. In each of the four corners is a
different symbol. The first quarter shows a river with an Indian headdress and
the phrase "A long way straight". The phrase is the translation of
Connoquenessing in English. The river is meant to represent the Connoquenessing
Creek, which is the namesake of the Township. The headdress represents the
natives who once lived in the area. The second quarter shows a Ferris wheel with
a plane flying near it. These represent the Butler County Air Show and farm
show. The third quarter shows a vintage tractor with corn fields in the
background, which represents agriculture. The fourth quarters shows an oil well
and a full minecart with crossed pickaxes. This represents the coal mining and
oil industries that dominated the industrial years of the county.
