The Meigs County flag was a project of the Meigs County-Ohio Bicentennial Committee. This blue flag has a line drawing inside a circle with twelve stars. The picture shows a scene along the Ohio River. It includes a boat, farm and the County Courthouse.
Meigs County was established in 1819. It was named after Ohio Governor Return Jonathan Meigs, Jr. who lived in Marietta, Ohio.
