A pro-Trump flag with a blue-canton with 1 red star (representing "January") and 6 white stars (representing the "6th" day of January) all of which [1/6] refer to January 6, 2021, when the U.S. Electoral College cast a majority of votes in electing Joeseph Biden over Donald Trump to be inaugurated as the next U.S. president -- just a few days later on Jan. 20, 2021. Thereby, then-Pres. Trump failed in seeking re-election to a second four-year term. Then-Pres. Trump urged his followers to dispute the then on-going Electoral College voting, which while causing a riot and invasion of the U.S. Capitol building (where the Electoral College was meeting), failed to thwart the E.C. from eventually electing Biden as president. This activity is referred to as part of the "STOP THE STEAL" movement, when Pres. Trump claimed that his opponents were trying to "steal" the election by overcounting "fake" pro-Biden election votes/ballots . This pro-Trump flag honors the pro-Trump demonstrators/rioters who failed to thwart the proceedings of the E.C. on Jan. 6, 2021. This flag was seen being paraded by pro-Trump supporters in Washington, DC, on the 5th anniversary [Jan. 6, 2026] of the E.C.'s election of Biden over Trump.
