Stronghold Renovations LLC is a location home improvement, handyman, and home
renovation company in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, area. It's a family- and
veteran-owned and operated business, incorporated in 2023 as an evolution of
Smith's Remodeling. We have actually had the company do several renovation jobs
on our home, including repairing flood damage in our basement earlier this year,
and we're good friends with the company's founder, owner, and project lead,
James Smith. When he was working on our basement back in January and February
2024, he explained the new branding for the company and asked if I could create
a flag to go along with the company's new logo and business cards. The flag, as
he approved it, is above.
The flag features the corporate logo centered
on a white field. The logo itself shows a hand and partial forearm holding a
hammer, displayed against a shield consisting of alternating thin red and white
stripes. There are 16 broken red lines radiating outward from the top half of
the shield. On a white banner across the bottom of the shield is the company
name in dark blue letters, with the company slogan, "The quality work you
deserve," arched beneath the shield in small, dark blue letters. In the upper
left corner of the flag is the color shoulder patch of the US Army's 82nd
Airborne Division, with whom Smith served in combat in Afghanistan, while a logo
at the bottom left designates the company as a veteran-owned business.
