The shield of the arms is Vert, a milk cow passant Argent speckled Sable, in orle two garlands of maize plants Or with their stems crossed per saltire and tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "TRAVANCA - VINHAIS".

Meaning:
The placement of the five charges, in cross, is canting.
