Shield Vert an open book Purpure with pages Or und a sword Argent in pale, on base three lozenges Or ordered 1:2, all flanked by two embowed flax branches Or with blossoms Argent seeded Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SÃO CIPRIANO E VIL DE SOUTO".
Meaning:
Book, sword and branches are taken from the arms of former São Cipriano Commune, the lozenges from those of former Vil de Souto Commune.

São Cipriano e Vil de Souto is one of the seven communes of Viseu Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1699 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 20,71 km². It was established as São Cipriano e Vil de Souto United Commune (Portuguese: União das Freguesias de São Cipriano e Vil de Souto on 28 January 2013 and got its current name on 4 June 2015.
