The arms are Sable above a five-arched bridge Argent issuant from a campaign wavy Argent charged with two fesses wavy Azure a branch of olive Vert fruited Or between two maize ears Or leafed Argent all three tied by a ribbon Gules. Mural crown argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA DE TÁBUA".

Presentation of Tàbua

Tàbua municipality had 12 425 inhabitants in 2001 and consists of 11 communes covering 199,8 km². It is part of Coimbra District, traditional province Beira Alta, 1999 ref. adm. region Beira Litoral, C.C.R. / NUTS II Centro, and NUTS III Pinhal Interior Norte.
