Shield Azure a grape bunch Purple on a leaf Or flanked by two candles Argent alight Gules and Or, on base wavy Argent a barrulet wavy Azure.
Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes,
with inscription in black capitals "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE" (1st line, smaller) "LAMELAS E GUIMAREI" (2nd line)
or with usual scroll with inscription simply "LAMELAS E GUIMAREI".

Lamelas e Guimarei is one of the five communes of Santo Tirso Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes; it had 1567 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 12,41 km².

Shield Azure, a bundle of three flax branches Or blossomed Argent, in chief a palm frond Or in fess, on base wavy Argent a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "LAMELAS".
Meaning:
According to Sérgio Horta the palm frond is representing Sta. Eulalia, the local patron saint, and the religiousness of the local people as well. The base wavy is representing Leça River. The flax branches are representing agriculture and craftwork.
