Coat of Arms

Shield Vert two keys in saltire tied Argent, the bendx key Or and the sinister bendy key Argent, flanked by two millstones Or, on chief a Paschal Lamb passant Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PORTO DE MÓS (1st line, bigger) SÃO JOÃO BAPTISTA E SÃO PEDRO (2nd line)".
Meaning:
The millstones (Portuguese: mós) are canting elements. The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the crossed keys of St. Peter. Both saints had been name givers and patron saints of the preceding communes.

Porto de Mós - São João Baptista e São Pedro is one of the three communes of Porto de Mós Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 6001 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 28,2 km².

Shield Gules, two millstones Argent ordered per fess, in chief a Paschal Lamb nimbed Or, in base two olive branches Or fructed Sable and crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PORTO DE MÓS - SÃO JOÃO BAPTISTA".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, being name giver of the commune and local patron saint.

Coat of Arms

Shield Or, an eradicated potatoe shrub Vert with five potatoes Gules, in chief a pair of keys Gules crossed per saltire, in base three lozenges Sable ordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PORTO DE MÓS - S. PEDRO".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, being name giver of the commune and local patron saint. The black lozenges stand for coal mining, the potatoe for agriculture.
