Shield Argent, an eradicated laurel tree Vert, in chief a lyre Gules stringed Sable at dexter and a mattock's iron Gules at sinister. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "LOUREIRO - OLIVEIRA DE AZEMÉIS".
Meaning:
The laurel tree (Port.: loureiro) is a canting element. The lyre is referring to the musicians of Banda de Música de Loureiro (see here). The iron is symbolising agriculture.
