The shield is Or, on a representation of a lagoon Azure semy of wavelets Argent four fish hauriant Gules emphasized Or set 1:2:1, in chief an olive branch Vert fruited Sable per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "LAGOA - MACEDO DE
CAVALEIROS".
Meaning:
"Lagoa", means "lagoon" or "pond": the coat of arms is canting.
