Shield Argent a fess Sable masoned Argent, on chief two bellows Gules addorsed, on base a barrel Purpure in fess with hoops Or with faucet and stopple Purpure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FERREIROS DE TENDAIS".
Meaning:
The bellows as tools of a blacksmith (Portuguese: ferreiro) are at least punning elements.
