Shield quartered, 1st quarter Or a pillory Argent, 2nd quarter Gules above dexter a waning crescent Or and beneath sinister a 5-point star of the same, 3rd quarter Gules an olive twig Or fructed Argent in pale, 4th quarter Or a goshawk proper on a rock Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "AÇORES".
Meaning:
The name giving goshawk (Portuguese: açor) is a canting element.

1) the tinctures partially don´t match heraldic rules
