Shield Or, issuant from base a mount Sable, charged with a pale wavy Argent, charged with two pallets wavy Azure, on top of the mount a goat passant Gules armed Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ALBERGARIA DA SERRA".
Meaning:
The goat is symbolising the local pastures, the most important business line. It is also referring to the old name of the commune: Albergaria das Cabras (= harbourage of the goats). The mount is symbolising the landscape. Pale and pallets are referring to a fountain called Frecha da Mizarela, a touristic attraction full of natural beauty.
