Shield Vert an olive branch wreath Or fructed Sable accompanied by three milestones arrayed one and two, issuant from flanches and base wavy Argent, charged with a bar Azure a two-arch bridge Or masoned Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as oftenused by united communes, with inscription in black capitals "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE VILA SECA E SANTO ADRIÃO".
Meaning:
The milestones are taken from the arms of Vila Seca and the bridge with base wavy from those of Santo Adrião.

The arms are Vert four milestones Argent set in cross upon base wavy Argent a barrulet Azure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA SECA - ARMAMAR".
Meaning:
"Vila Seca" means "dry town" and this is inverse canting - an extreme case of of mindless adding of a meaningless wavy base to each and every communal arms, regardless of how rivers or streams are locally significant.

Shield Or a sword Gules in pale flanked by two grape bunches Purpure leafed Vert, issuant from the flanches and base wavy Azure, charged with a barrulet wavy Argent, a two-arch bridge Sable masoned Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "SANTO ADRIÃO - ARMAMAR".
Meaning:
The name of this commune refers to St. Adrian of Nicomedia, of doubtful historicity (see English WIKIPEDIA), a subject of local worship. His saintly attibute is an anvil, which is absent from the coat of arms. The sword however might be nevertheless some kind of attribute of him, being local patron saint and name giver of the commune. He had been the "chief military saint" for many centuries, mainly venerated in Northern Europe. He is depicted usually under armour.
