Shield Or, in fess a corn cob Or leafed Vert at dexter and a lyre Gules at sinister, in chief sword and scales Purpure, in base a bar wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "TRAVASSÔ - ÁGUEDA".
Meaning:
The sword with scales is an attribute of St. Michael, the local patron saint.

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, two corn cobs Vert leafed Or, in central chief a Maltese cross Argent, issuant from base a boat Sable garnished Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ÓIS DA RIBEIRA".
Meaning:
The cross refers to the Order of Malta, the former owner of the village. The corn cobs are representing agriculture. Boat and base wavy are representing the Pateira Lagoon, an important attraction for tourists.
