Flag: four equally wide horizontal stripes of white - red - yellow - green. (adopted after advice from the High Council of Nobility, and identical to the flag of the municipality of Dantumadeel, Fryslân province).

Dutch name: Waterschap De Alm - seat: Sleeuwijk, Noord-Brabant province.
Flag: blue with in the center the crowned Coat of Arms of 13/20 flagheight.

Arms granted 4 Nov 1968
Description: "Quartered: I. In blue two silver ducks placed per pale, beaked red, all surrounded by a wide clouded seam of silver; II. in gold three posthornsof red, garnished and opened of silver; III. in red a silver net, over all a salmon of gold; IV. in blue three naarowed wavy bars of silver; the shield surmounted by a golden crown of three leaves and two pearls.

Flag: horizontal stripes white - blue - yellow, proportioned 2:1:2.

Heusden en Altena polderboard

Dutch name: Heemraadschap voor het Land van Heusden en Altena - seat: Sleeuwijk, Noord-Brabant province.
Flag: blue with in the center the full Coat of Arms of 3/4 flagheight.
Coat of Arms: per fess, the chief per pale, the first of two salmons endorsed of red, the second or a wheel of red, the basis or 10 fourpointed stars (4,3,2,1); the whole bordered black, gold and black; the shield bearing a golden crown.
This waterschap is the dike college for the island between Merwede and Maas rivers. The blue field of the flag shows the arms of the manor of Altena, the wheel the arms of the city of Heusden, and the stars symbolize the 10 municipalities in the island. The border represents the dike that surrounds the island, and the roads on the dikes. For the image the waterschap-arms on Ralf Hartemink's site have been used.
