Brantgum Coat of Arms

[Brantgum Coat of Arms] by Jarig Bakker, 2 May 2004

Description: "In silver a red right-diagonal, charged with a golden brush pointing upwards, with in white sinister a red fleur-de-lis and dexter a red six-spoked wheel.
Ids Wiersma's brush is pointing upwards, as painters usually do. The Catherine's wheel refers to the church's patron saint. The fleur-de-lis is from the arms of the Rinnerda family.
