Babtai (Kaunas District) - on a blue field above a Pope's
tiara over crossed silver and golden keys, below a brown boat
with silver sail. Flag proportions 13:14, free edges bordered
with a narrow silver strip, fringe is silver, the finial is
golden tip with openwork cross and silver bands, staff is white.
The upper part (religious composition) of the arms granted in
1792 attributes the local church of St. Peter and St. Paul. The
lower part (sailboat) symbolizes the importance of the Nemunas
River for trade of the town.
