The flag of the city of Ako is blue-white-green wavy tricolor whith mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Sep 1st 1951 but there is no flag law. The blue, white and green wavy three stripes flag has a red city emblem a bit towards hoist. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 赤 Ak of Ako. The rays symbolizes a salt crystal and a soar.
