I spotted this flag attached here in Fort
Gertrude, Java. This is the flag of Palang Merah Indonesia, or the Indonesian
Red Cross. I thought as much yesterday but wanted to get verification before
posting the flag. They also occasionally make up flags with the logo printed in
the center hoist of the flag and Palang Merah Indonesia printed in the fly with
"Palang" being on top, "Merah" in the middle, and "Indonesia" below Merah. You
can see a partial photo on their home page at:

Here are more variants of the flag. On page 44 of the PMI logo guide
has an outline on how the flags are supposed to be, but it is not an
exhaustive list of possible flags. However, while there is no specific
rule for the flag itself, the size of the logo is guided by page 11;
this uses the Red Cross as a "safe area" for a border to prevent
overcrowding or printing errors.

Indonesia has another organization : Indonesian Red Crescent but that organization is not related to IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies).
