Santo Tomás de Castilla, officially known as Mátías de Gálvez, is a port city in the Izabal Department, Guatemala. It is administratively a part of Puerto Barrios.

In 1843 Belgians settled at the mouth of the Dulce River in eastern Guatemala (now Izabal Department) at the behest of King Leopold I of Belgium, establishing Belgian Santo Tomas. A blue, white, and blue horizontal bi-color flag with a beehive in the center was used. Eleven years later, a pandemic such as malaria caused the colony to withdraw.
