In DK Pocket Book this flag is shown with a large emblem
(nearly touching the edges of the flag), and the following
comments: "The flag of the President has a dark green field
with the coat of arms in the centre, crowned with a British lion.
It depicts palm tree, an indigenous frog and the sea. The
supporters are two sisserou parrots. The national motto is in
Creole - "Apres Bon Die C'est la Ter", meaning
"After the good Lord (we love) the soil."
Ivan Sache, 17 April 1999
From Album 2000 [pay00] -
President of the Republic - Ratio is not given, the figure shows
flag approximately (but longer then) 2:3. The Coat of Arms in the
middle is considerably larger then we have at above currently.
That would agree with other sources, as far as I am aware, this
image is here quite erroneous. On the other hand, Smith [smi82] has smaller Coat of Arms on
1:2 flag.

This image is based on the illustration and color scheme from the
website of
the President of Dominica. It should
be noted that in Dominica legislation the flag is called the 'President's
Ensign' rather than 'Presidential Flag'.
