Shield Argent, issuant from a triplemount Vert a vine plant Vert with leaves of the same and two bunches of grapes Or.
Meaning:
The current pattern was already displayed on a court seal from the early 18th century. Mount and plant are alluding to the location and the importance of viticulture. Since 1835 all seals displayed the pattern. The tinctures were fixed by Otto Hupp (1925). The colour of the triplemount later was changed from blue to green.
