Shield parted per pale of Gules and Azure, a bell Argent, charged with a Baroque inescutcheon lozengy of Gules and Or.
Meaning:
The main charge is the old bell of a local chapel, having Odilia of Cologne as patron saint. On the bell is the lozengy shield of the Lords of Königsegg and an inscription "HANS FREI ZU KEMBTEN HAT MICH GOSEN" (= Hans Frei of Kempten has casted me) with an additional inscription "1580". The tinctures red and blue here are taken from the arms of the Lords of Mühlegg, first mentioned in the 13th century. Their ancestral seat had been Untermühlegg Castle, located in Bolsterlang. In the 14th and 15th century a branch of the family resided in the municipality in Gundelsberg Castle.
