Shield Gules a gatehouse Argent with port and roofs Gules and windows Sable, a centred ridge turret of the same and two swallow tail pennants Sable over Argent at each end.
Meaning:
Leutershausen was called a city since the first third of the 14th century. Seals and arms always displayed a canting house, but appearance and details changed frequently. The oldest seals from the14th century displayed a palace with Romanic windows. Since the 17th century the current pattern prevailed, especially on the mayor's chain from 1819. The tinctures are known since the 19th century. The pennant colours are those of the Zollern kin.
