Azure to as to form twin peaks a pale wavy Argent (stopping just above fess point) a Chief Or bearing three mullets Gules in fess.

On 1 November 2003 the new commune of Riederalp was formed by the merger of Goppisberg, Greich and Ried-Mörel (see below).
The threefold wavy bar symbolizes the local Aletsch glacier.
