Description of the flag

The flag of the Village of Casselman, Ontario, is white with the village coat of arms on it. It shows various aspects of the village life - a train, a cross, a sun, a wheat, a fire, and below the shield a ribbon with word "CASSELMAN". Photo of the flag thanks to Gilles Lortie, clerk.

About the village:
"Casselman is a village in eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell on the South Nation River. Casselman is surrounded on all sides by The Nation, since Casselman citizens refused to join the fusion of municipalities. It has 3,275 residents. The village was named after Martin Castleman who built a sawmill near the site of the current town in 1844." - from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casselman,_Ontario
