Caló is the (or each of the) language(s) of Iberian
Gypsies, unrelated to the Romany
language(s) spoken by this people elsewhere in Europe and Asia.
Caló is almost extinct as a living, separate language,
but many words from its lexic are kept in use mixed with
Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese. Caló itself is classified
as a Romance language, not as a Indo-Aryan language.
