Municipal flags in Davis County:

According to a 27 August 1981 article by the Vernal Express, a county flag contest was held which concluded on August 1. Stanley Slagowski was the winner of the contest, sponsored by the Manila Area Chamber of Commerce, and won $25 as a prize. The day after it ended, the Chamber of Commerce decided what they thought the best design was. The county commissioners soon approved the design on August 19, 1981. There is a possibility this might not have been formally approved, as I was told by County Clerk Brian Raymond that he can't find anything in the county's resolutions and ordinances for a flag. He did, however, say that one was created as a part of the State Centennial Celebrations in 1996 and used at the State Fair. As for the design(s), I am unable to find any information. So does this possibly mean Daggett County, of 950 people currently, has had at least 2 flags?
