Description of the flag

Churchill County is located in central-western Nevada. Special thanks to Julie Guerrero for flag description.

Flag Inquiry Response:
In the fall of 2012, Churchill County started the process of developing a new logo. Our existing logo was quite old and we were unable to have it reproduced in various media types. On January 7, 2013, Churchill County adopted a new logo, which can be seen in the lower right-hand corner of our website, www.churchillcounty.org. Once we had our new logo, we ordered flags with our logo on them. Our flag is green with our logo in full color. The logo design itself was adopted by the County Commission, but we didn't do anything separate to adopt the flag, because our flag just consisted of a picture of our logo.
