The Eddy county flag was adopted sometime in the past decade it appears. The earliest instance I could find of its usage was in 2018. An image of it can be seen at https://www.facebook.com/100064752850404/photos/1050807290421023/. It is white with a newer version of the county logo centered upon it.

Although Eddy County did not have its own flag in its possession it appears, Eddy County has had a flag since its adoption for the hoisting in the state capitol in January 1993. It depicts an older version of the county seal on a red field. The outer ring of the seal, outlined in black, reads "EDDY COUNTY, NEW MEXICO" and 1889, the year it was carved out of Lincoln County, the text in yellow and ring in red. The inner circle is composed similarly to the state flag, with a red Zia sun symbol over yellow. In the symbol's inner circle is a depiction of the county courthouse, with what appears to be the text Charles B. Eddy, the county's namesake, though the image of it online is not clear. Between the rays of the sun symbol are the words OIL, TOURISM (unclear), and RANCHING on the left; to the right, GAS, HUNTING, and FARMING, all in black.

The county logo consists of a Zia sun symbol and a circle merged together, in red and outlined in bronze, with an inner circle depicting the calcite formations of the Carlsbad Caverns as a centerpiece, in bronze. Just above is the text CARLSBAD CAVERNS. The roof of the caverns can also be seen in white, contrasting with the black below. Arched above the circular device is the text EDDY COUNTY, below NEW MEXICO. Going from left to right: At the top, GAS and OIL are read on the rays. At the bottom, 18, TOURS, DAIRY, and 89 are read [1889 the year its creation was legislated upon). From top to bottom: to the left are the words NUCLEAR and POTASH; to the right RANCH and FARM. All text is in bronze.
