The logo depicts a sunrise over the rockies with the Colorado river flowing through. At the top of the logo is a person parachuting, which is not what the town was named after, it's named after a mispelling of the Pahchouc creek, which is now known as the Parachute creek as a result. At the bottom of the logo is the town's motto "Western Gateway to the Rockies", as it is on the western edge of the Rocky mountain ridge in Colorado.
