In an article by The Madison County Record, it displays two images which seem
to be the original drawings for the Madison County flag and Huntsville since
they are both crudely drawn. Valerie Sharp was the designer of the Huntsville
flag from the time. Both Madison County's flag and Huntsville were designed in a
contest conducted by the Madison County Bicentennial Committee. In a previous
article by the same newspaper company, it says the high school students of the
county were tasked with designing Madison County's, while the middle school
students for the city flag of Huntsville. All were judged on October 3, 1975 and
on public display at Watson Elementary School on October 6. The Madison County
Arts Center seems to have been tasked with producing the actual flags.

It seems that a flag is in use at the town's Polk Square at

and

The pattern Daniel shows in his previous
email has been colorized, however I could only find a Google cache version from
the official website of the city. I cannot confirm if this pattern he showed is
what is in use right now because of the lack of visual confirmation.

As shown on Google maps, the flag is the city logo on a white field: https://www.google.com/maps/place/City+Clerk's+Office+-+City+Hall/@36.0874451,-93.7349753
