Chaguanas is the biggest and fastest-growing town in Trinidad, with 85,000
inhabitants. It was named after the indigenous tribe who originally settled
there. It grew in size because of its proximity to the Woodford Lodge sugar
refinery.

The flag of Chaguanas borough is white with the seal of the borough.
At least until 2012, Chaguanas had a totally different emblem. See
here, and the emblem can still be seen
here.
