Antalya Metropolitan Municipality (1,041,972 inhabitants in 2011, 994,890 in the town of Antalya proper) is located on the Mediterrenean coast of Turkey. Antalya is one of the biggest tourism centers of the country with beaches, hotels and archeaological sites. It has a very warm climate, especially in summer. It is famous for citrus fruit, especially oranges. There is an annual film festival held in Antalya called "Golden Orange", which is the oldest and most important film festival of Turkey.
Onur Özgün, 3 September 2004
The flag of Antalya (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem, composed of the letter "a", for Antalya, with sun rays and an orange figure in the center. The figure also looks like a tree (may be a palm).
Onur Özgün & Tomislav Šipek, 7 October 2017
The emblem on the flag quite resembles the Turkish good luck charms that are sold all along the southern coast of Turkey and, maybe, in the rest of the country, as well. These charms are believed to protect the owner from evil ghosts; Turks wear them around the neck, on keyrings, in cars, etc.

UAÜ) was established in 2012 by the Gaye Education, Health Sports and
Environment Foundation. The university is composed of 6 Faculties, 4
Schools and 2 Institutes.
In the aftermath of the aborted coup of 15 June 2016, UAÜ was raided by
the police and its rector arrested, for alleged links with the
Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ, the name given to the Gülen
movement by the Turkish government). The university appears to have been
renamed to Antalya Science University (Antalya Bilim Üniversitesi - ABÜ).

AÜ (website) was founded in 1982 in Antalya, incorporating a number of higher education institutions in the West Mediterranean region of Turkey. In 1992 the units of AÜ
which were located in Isparta were transferred to Süleyman Demirel University, and in 2006 the units in Burdur were transferred to Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
AÜ is composed of 21 Faculties, 7 Institutes, 3 Schools, 1 Conservatory,
and 11 Vocational Schools.
The flag of AÜ (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo, photo) is celestial blue with the university's emblem.
The colors of the emblem are prescribed as follows (AÜ website):
Dark blue CMYK 100 87 28 21 Blue CMYK 100 57 0 7 Orange CMYK 0 67.3 98.48 0
The decision to change the university's emblem was taken in 2012,
resulting in the appointment of the Communication Coordination Board. A
call for proposals yielded 1,147 submissions, of which 868 were deemed
eligible.
The new emblem, adopted in 2014, was designed by Mahyar Kalantari, from
the Saga Global Sourcing company.
Number 1 reflects the aspiration of the university and the need of
universal unity.
Letter "A" stands both for "Akdeniz" (Mediterranean Basin) and
"Antalya". The letter is also a symbol of beginning and quality.
The sky background is a symbol of perfection; the circular emblem refers
to excellence in wisdom.
The stars are a symbol of democracy, equality and freedom, and of
succession, success and dynamism.
Dark blue is a symbol of eternity, determination, scientific authority
and efficiency. Pumpkin orange is the university's traditional color.

Flag of the Antalya Bar Association - Image by Ivan Sache, 13 April 2019
The flag of the Antalya Bar Association (photo) is white with the association's emblem. Here the vertical axis of the pair of scales traditionally used to represent justice is made of Antalya's landmark, Yivli minaret
The minaret, known as Yivli ["fluted"] after its semi-circular flanks, is the oldest structure of an informal religious complex located in the historic castle of Antalya that consists of a mosque, madrasa, Mevlevi lodge (mevlevihane) and two domed tombs. A marble inscription at the base of the minaret names Seljuk Sultan Ala al-Din Kay Qubadh I (1220-1237) as its builder.
The brick minaret is located to the east of the mosque, about four and a half meters away from its south-east corner. It stands on a stone base that is six and a half meters tall and five and a half meters wide. The upper corners of the base are chamfered to meet an octagonal transition zone carved with a blind niche on each side. Little remains of the mosaic of turquoise and cobalt-blue tiles decorating the niches of this zone. The eight semi-circular flanks of the shaft begin above a narrow circular ring and taper slightly inward before terminating at a second circular band below the stone muqarnas consoles of the balcony. Blue glazed tiles woven into every other row of the brick shaft create an illusion of stripes traveling up the flanks. The minaret ends with a simple cylindrical turret above the balcony and is capped with a lead-covered conical cap. The simple stone balustrade of its balcony may be a later addition.
