Shield Argent an arrow bundle Gules tied Vert flanked in chief by two apples Gules leafed Vert, on fess point an impending egg-shaped boulder Sable, issuant from base a mound Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CANDOSO - VILA FLOR".
Meaning:
The egg shaped boulder is an actual landmark, Fraga do Ovo; the arrows stand for the local Catholic parish patron St. Sebastian.

Candoso was one of the ten communes of Vila Flor Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 158 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 7,08 km².

Meaning:
"Carvalho" means "oak" in Portuguese, meaning these arms are partly canting.
