Shield Vert, issuant from a bird's nest Or in base a stork vigilant Argent armed Or, in chief two fig leaves Or set in fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FREGUESIA DE FIGUEIRA DE CASTELO RODRIGO".
Meaning:
The fig leaves are canting elements, as "figueira" means "fig tree".
