Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a vine plant eradicated Argent leaved of the same and fruited Or between a bridge issuant Argent with five archs in base and hammer and pick axe Argent hilted Or in chief crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE PORTUNHOS E OUTIL".
Meaning:
The tools are referring to the famous local chisellers. The wine plant is representing viticulture and agriculture in general, important economic activities. It is also representing the former Outil commune. Bridge and base wavy are representing the banks of Ança Creek and the bridge of Portunhos, and thus representing former Portunhos commune.

Portunhos e Outil is one of the five communes of Cantanhede Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1850 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 30,72 km².

Meaning:
Bridge and base wavy refer to the local bridge, see this photo over the Ança Creek. The other charges stand for viticulture and stone cutting.

Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "OUTIL".
Meaning:
The bottle is an attribute of St. Mary Magdalen, the local patron saint.
