Witkowo - urban-rural commune, Gniezno County, Wielkopolskie Voivodship.
Gmina Witkowo is an urban-rural gmina (commune) in Gniezno County,
Greater Poland Voivodship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town
of Witkowo, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) south-east of
Gniezno and 59 km (37 mi) east of the regional capital Poznań.
Area: 184.4 sq.km (71.2 sq.mi); Population: 13,446 (2006).

Arms and flag adopted on March 28, 2003 (resolution # V/43/03).
"Arms: on the blue shield an Eye of Providence, white with the black
pupil, surrounded by the golden solar rays.
Arms are known since XVIII Century.
Flag: a blue rectangle in the ratio 5:8 with the Arms of the town (without
the shield) under the legend "WITKOWO" in black letters."
