It appears San Bernardo does not use a municipal flag.

The council did not give any information regarding the coat of arms. The border is red, reading at the top "TIERRA DE ESFUERZOS" [Land of Efforts]. At the bottom is its name. In the inner section, the top is knitted into a curve, the upper part also having the local San Bernardo church, a crossed pick and shovel for mining to the right; and to the left, a cob of corn in its husk and pepper for agriculture. The left side has a tree for its environment, and to the right a pepper as it is known for its growth. In the lower section to the center, there is also a map of the municipality, with a book, mountain, and head of cattle imposed over it; these represent education, the environment, and cattle-raising respectively.
