Located in Suginami City Tokyo and established in 1950.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has orange background with a gold, silver and green emblem in gold border.
The university flag has white background with a purple, blue and black symbol mark.
The university emblem depicts a rice plant, a mirror, and a kite. The rice plant represents "intellect (knowledge)," a mirror "virtue (sincerity)," and a kite "body (courage)," meaning that students will embody these intellect, virtue, and body during their four years of university life.
The three parts of the symbol mark represent knowledge, virtue, and body, respectively.
