He belonged to the Western army in the Battle of Sekigahara, and was in a difficult situation after the war. However, he was pardoned by Ieyasu for defeating the Tachibana family of Yanagawa. In 1597, he became the lord of the Saga domain in Hizen Province. The war banner was a white and black diagonally colored flag with a black family emblem on the upper white part. The family emblem is a design of the gyoyo literaly meaning apricot leaf. The gyoyo was originally a harness fitting, but later changed to a flower shape and was given this name.
Nozomi Kariyasu, 20 February 2023
A vassal of Tokugawa Hidetada. He was the first lord of the Zenssho domain in Omi Province, after his distinguished service in the winter and summer campaigns of Osaka. The war banner has pale green background with three white snake eyes topped with a pale green small streaming flag.

Vassal of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Participates in the Osaka Winter and Summer Campaigns. After the war, he became the lord of Shimabara domain in Hizen Province with 40,000 goku. The war banner was black and red horizontal two stripes with a white horizontal stripe in black part.

He served under Toyotomi Hideyoshi and became a magistrate in Nagasaki. He belonged to the Tokugawa side in the Battle of Sekigahara, and after the war was given 120,000 goku, including Amakusa. The war banner has white background with three black circles.
