Local Council Hatzrot Yasaf is quite a new settlement and does not yet appear in the Local Governments website. It was originaly founded as a temporary settlement for the immigration wave from Ethiopia in the early 1990s. Somehow, this temporary settlement situated not far from the seashore between Akko and Nahariya became not so temporary and even became a Local Council in the mid-1990s. (...) The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP 4386, 20 Febuary 1996.
